Why We're Building Lunxa
Good ideas get lost between too many tools. We're building a calmer, more connected place to do meaningful work.
Most people we talk to don't lack ideas. They lack a clear place to move those ideas forward.
A typical week involves a task tracker, a notes app, a shared drive, a chat tool, a calendar and, increasingly, a separate AI chat window. Each tool is good at its job. Together they create friction: context lives in five places, decisions get buried in threads, and the same information is copied by hand from one app to another.
The cost of disconnected work
The cost isn't only time. It's attention. Every switch between applications asks you to rebuild context — where was that brief, what did we decide, who owns the next step? Over weeks, that friction quietly turns into missed deadlines and duplicated effort.
What we believe
We started Lunxa with a few convictions:
- Work should live together. Projects, tasks and the knowledge behind them belong in one connected place.
- Intelligence should be built in, not bolted on. An assistant is far more useful when it understands the work you're allowed to see — and nothing more.
- People stay in control. Software can suggest, summarise and automate, but consequential actions should be visible, reviewable and reversible.
- Simplicity is a feature. Powerful tools don't need to feel complicated.
Lunxa the company, Lunxa Workspace the product
Lunxa is a technology company. Lunxa Workspace is our first product: projects, knowledge, AI assistance and automations in one workspace. We intend to build more over time, but only by doing this first product properly.
Building in the open
We'll share what we're building, what we've learned and what we're still figuring out on our roadmap and on this blog. If something doesn't work the way you expect, tell us — that feedback directly shapes what we build next.
Better work begins with fewer places to look. That's where we're starting.
